The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides HR recruiting, onboarding, consultation, and support for our Ooltewah, TN, facility.  This position utilizes working knowledge of the business to provide HR workforce planning, support, and guidance to Supervision and Management, analyzes trends and collaborates with Corporate Human Resources to develop and establish workforce plans with a focus on resolving and positively impacting business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the HR core processes that support and drive the initiatives of talent management, succession planning and retention.
  • Advises and aides in the creation of an environment that attracts, retains and motivates top talent.
  • Communicates new HR initiatives; programs, policies and practices.
  • Posts jobs and closely monitors headcount for each department
  • Facilitates short and long-term talent requirements. Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting applicants for vacant positions.
  • Notifies and advises management on employee and organizational issues.
  • Identify HR issues within the organization, coordinates with management/ supervision, and recommends solutions for the delivery of quality programs to the organization.
  • Collaborates with Corporate HR and Operations Management to align HR strategy with business unit strategy.
  • Provides input to business leaders regarding training needs and executes training activities/initiatives.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting follow local laws/regulations.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs in a timely manner.
  • Promotes safety in the workplace.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources; or 3-6 years of human resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written/presentation/facilitation/communication skills
  • Demonstrated influence management, judgment, and decision-making competencies.
  • Ability to challenge leadership on situations relating to talent, culture, engagement and other people matters.
  • Proven ability to build solid, trusting, and credible relationships
  • Prefer HR Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)
  • Knowledge of Kronos WFC or exposure to other HRIS.
