Miller Industries

Security Notice

Yesterday (10/18/22), Miller Industries was the target of an organized car break-in/theft spree in the Large Wrecker Parking Lot around 10 am.

In recent months, we have taken measures such as cutting trees and installing cameras in the parking lots, but this alone does not deter these groups. Crimes like this can be remedied by taking extra precautions when leaving your vehicle.

The majority of vehicles that are burglarized or stolen have been left unlocked. Don’t be the next victim. Always lock your cars, take your keys with you, and do not leave valuables/personal items in plain sight.

Most thieves are less likely to break a window to get into a car; this could trigger an alarm or bring unwanted attention. That's why locking your car is so important. Please take a few extra seconds to ensure your car is locked before leaving it unattended.

If you were parked in the Large Wrecker Parking Lot yesterday and seem to be missing any valuables, call the Hamilton County Police Department (423-622-0022). A report has been filed from yesterday's event.

If You “See Something, Say Something”

Call 911 first and be ready to provide the police with as much information as possible regarding the description of the suspicious person or vehicle.
