Processes orders for aftermarket parts by performing the following duties:

1.       Orders are placed continually to Miller Industries throughout the week, anyone filling this position must be punctual and reliable in their attendance in order to be successful at fulfilling the customer’s needs and be successful at this job. 

2.       To fill this job for Order Entry Personnel, candidate must have computer and keyboard skills and must have good vocal communication skills. 

3.       Daily activities would include:

·         Take purchase orders and order requests from the Central order inbox “Parts” 

·         Review those orders for: 

·         Part number accuracy 

·         Necessary information to be entered on order 

·         Urgency requests 

·         Method of shipment 

·         Variables that might require the order to be filled by other locations 

·         Call customers for clarifications of POs information when necessary. 

·         Enter orders into the ERP system with accuracy and attention to detail 

·         Print orders and provide to the gatekeeper for orders being sent to the floor 

·         Call all customers after orders are entered to inform them of the receipt of PO and that the order has been entered, costs and at that time relaying anticipated execution of the particular order as well as to verify the customer has no additional questions or concerns. 

·         Receive calls from customers to discuss status of existing orders and forward calls to Customer service department at whatever time customers are requiring information of a technical nature. 

·         Follow up on customer concerns with other Business Units and other departments to be sure the company is moving forward with filling the customer’s needs. 

·         Open communication with the rest of the order fulfillment group, the order gate keeper and the order fulfillment team is crucial to the department working toward the necessary goals.

Education and/or Experience: 
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have intermediate data entry skills.
