Century has brought a whole new dimension to transport with the 12 Series L.C.G. (Low Center of Gravity) carrier.  The patent-applied-for design lowers the deck height 5 to 6 inches over conventional carriers.  The lower height allows for the transport of taller loads such as forklifts or man-lifts that maybe over-height on a conventional carrier as well as providing better stability during transport.  The operator may easily secure loads or tied down vehicles standing on the ground with the lower height.  When mounted on most air ride chassis, with the air dumped, the 12 series L.C.G. has less than 11° load angle, making it ideal for loading low-clearance vehicles or equipment without using ramps or wood.  For fast and easy unloading of damaged vehicles or equipment, the 12 Series L.C.G. has a 20° dump angle.  Your new 12 Series L.C.G. is available in 21', 21 1/2 ' and 22' deck lengths with a capacity of 12,000 lbs. and a wide variety of options to fit your specific transport needs.

CHASSIS RECOMMENDATIONS
Fuel tanks must be under the cab.  Fuel tanks can extend up to 6 inches behind the cab only in combination with a frame mounted pylon.    Fuel fill must not be behind the cab.
The preferred location for the battery box is  under the passenger seat or under the cab, battery boxes in other locations may require relocation.

The L.C.G. Carrier is not compatible with chassis that have inboard mid-ship fuel tanks such as the Ford 550, GM 5500, and Dodge 5500.

Air-bag rear suspensions are recommended for the lowest possile load angle but the L.C.G. carrier can be mounted on some chassis with leaf spring suspensions.  Most chassis components behind the cab outside the frame must be at least 2 inches below the top of the truck frame to clear the bed slide rails.
